Sweet and Sour Salad



SWEET and SOUR SALAD
Dreamland BBQ Recipe

1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
1/2 cup Dreamland Bar-B-Que Sauce
2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 (6 oz.) package fresh baby spinach
1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted
1/3 cup crumbled Gorgonzola or other blue cheese

Drain oranges, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. Set oranges aside. Combine 1/4 cup orange liquid, barbecue sauce, and next 3 ingredients in a small bowl, whisking until blended. Place spinach on a large platter or in a large bowl. Sprinkle with reserved orange segments, walnuts, and crumbled cheese. Serve with barbecue vinaigrette. Serve immediately.
