ST. LOUIS BBQ RIBS
Pappy’s Smokehouse Restaurant Copycat Recipe

Ingredients:
2 1/2 pound loin back ribs

Rib Rub:
1 1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon dried granulate onion
1/2 teaspoon dried granulated garlic
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt

Dust ribs with a medium coating of rub. Cover with a hand full of brown sugar. Let sit at room temp for 30 minutes. Place in a 250 degree smoker for four hours.

COLE SLAW
Pappy’s Smokehouse Restaurant Copycat Recipe

Slaw:
1 head cabbage, shredded fine
1 large onion, sliced fine

Dressing:
7/8 cup sugar
1 cup vinegar
3/4 cup salad oil
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon dry mustard

Layer the cabbage and onion, ending with the cabbage. Mix the sugar, vinegar, oil, salt, celery seed,  and dry mustard. Heat to boiling. Pour the hot dressing over the cabbage. DO NOT STIR. Cover and place in the fridge. Stir before serving. Keeps for 1 week. Serves 8-10.

BAKED BEANS
Pappy’s Smokehouse Restaurant Copycat Recipe

3 cups canned baked beans
1/4  cup brown sugar
3/8 cup white onions, diced
1/2  cup molasses
cayenne pepper to taste

Mix together the ingredients, cover, and bake at 325 for one hour. Serves 12.

2 ounce bag of FRITOS Original Corn Chips
2 cups Pappy’s Smokehouse Baked Beans
1 cup sliced Hot Links, cooked
1/4 cup sliced red onions
shredded cheddar cheese
sour cream (optional)
