Broccoli Salad

Moe's Original BBQ Restaurant Recipe

8 cups trimmed broccoli florets
8 ounces diced bacon (about ten slices)
1 cup golden raisins
3/4 cup red onion, diced small
2 cups mayonnaise
1 cup sugar
1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon salt

Brown the bacon until crispy. Combine the first four ingredients including the bacon grease in a bowl. In a separate bowl combine the last four ingredients and whisk until smooth. Making sure the sugar has dissolved completely, pour over the first four ingredients and cover. Store in the refrigerator and be sure to stir every couple of hours. (If you can wait overnight, the flavors will come together better.)
